2. Data we collect

Contact form

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and the content of your message. Nothing else.

Purchase process

Payment data (card number, etc.) is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. DexSuite only receives the email address linked to the payment in order to send you the license.

Website visit statistics

This website measures its visits with Vercel Web Analytics. For each page viewed it records the page address, the site you came from, your approximate country and region, your device type, browser and operating system. It does not use cookies or store your IP address: to count visits without duplicates it calculates an encrypted value (a hash) from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data is only seen in aggregate and does not identify you.

Page addresses are sent without their parameters, so no data from the license activation link ever leaves this site.

Software usage data

DexSuite does not send usage data or telemetry. The app runs on your device and only connects to the internet for these tasks: checking for a new version (GitHub), activating your license (dexsuite.app), downloading drivers when you ask it to (NVIDIA or AMD websites) and the network test, when you run it. None of them sends information about how you use the app.

App network test

If you run the network test, the app measures your speed with Cloudflare's service (speed.cloudflare.com) and queries ipapi.co to show you your internet provider, your public IP, your city and your country. To do this, ipapi.co receives your IP address. The result is shown only to you, and DexSuite does not send it anywhere else.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your query. Legal basis: consent of the data subject (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• License delivery. Legal basis: performance of the purchase contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Aggregate visit statistics for the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used in order to improve it (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Showing you your connection details in the app's network test. Legal basis: providing the function you request when you run the test (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

4. Recipients

Data is not shared with third parties except by legal obligation or to provide the service, with the following data processors:

• Vercel, Inc.: website hosting provider and visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics). It processes incoming requests (including the IP address) to serve the pages and, for the statistics, only keeps the aggregate data described in section 2. Policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Resend, Inc.: transactional email platform. Data: email address and message content. It operates with adequate safeguards (EU or SCCs).
• Stripe, Inc.: payment processor. It handles payment data under its own privacy policy: stripe.com/en/privacy.
• GitHub, Inc. (Microsoft): platform from which the app's automatic updates are distributed. It may log IPs at the time of download in accordance with its privacy policy.
• Upstash, Inc.: Redis cache service used to rate-limit form submissions. It only stores the IP address temporarily (a 60-second window) and does not link it to any other personal data.
• Cloudflare, Inc.: Turnstile anti-bot check used on the contact, beta and review forms to tell people from automated programs. It runs in your browser and may process your IP address, browser data and interaction signals. If you run the app's network test, Cloudflare also receives your IP address through its speed test service (speed.cloudflare.com). See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Kloudend, Inc. (ipapi.co), United States: service that returns the provider and approximate location of an IP address. It is only involved if you run the app's network test, and it receives your IP address, which according to its policy it keeps in its logs for a limited time. See ipapi.co/privacy.

5. Retention period

Contact form data is kept for as long as needed to handle the query and, where applicable, to meet legal obligations. Purchase data is kept for the minimum period required by Spanish tax and commercial regulations.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to contact@dexsuite.app, indicating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe the processing does not comply with current regulations, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
